"This product looks just like the photo and is simple to use and set up. It has a good volume and it is handy to have the portable section. The ring tones are a bit naff. Frankly, I can't imagine anyone wanting to hear a metalic sounding claninet playing as your ring tone, but the other is your standard 'bing bong' and is inoffensive. Note: It say 'up to 3 sounds' I have only been able to find two."

WARNING notice in the packaging!! 29 September 2009

"Though there was no mention of it on the web-site, the first thing you find on opening the box is a WARNING notice, printed in red, informing you that you can't site this unit anywhere near any metal, or double-glazing. This means it is useless for around 40% of purchasers!"

"We have had a couple of the Byron door bells and because they are sold at the largest outlet around every other home has one and then our door bell sounds when they press their button, so far we have not had that problem & the sound is far better."
