"i returned this item straight back! the padlock is made of plastic casing which i think is useless and it was a nightmare to lock because it is so flimsy, in fact we could only lock it when in our hands and not in use!. the keys were also very weak. the chain itself was heavy duty, but could do with being longer as the size of the links take up the length when wrapped around something being locked up, shame about the very poor padlock"

"The chain it self is a solid piece of kit but it is let down by the lock which seems cheap and may not stand up to an attempt by a thief. I would suggest buying a seperate more stronger lock."

"I purchased this to replace a cable lock that had been cut through with a pair of wire cutters.
The chain is substantial and would require either an angle grinder or some considerable time with a hacksaw to get through, so it would deter the casual thief. However, the padlock itself seems too plasticcy and I'm not convinced about its ability to sustain even a mild attack with a crowbar or heavy duty pliers."
