"The super fine JPEG setting produces some impressive results. Raw mode should be even better, but I haven't tried it yet. Due to the large ISO range from 100 to 6400 shots can be taken in low light conditions with out a flash. The digital noise is low on the higher ISO settings. There are some unique features which can only be found on Samsung or Pentax cameras. These are sensitivity priority, where you set the aperture and shutter speed and the camera automatically works out the ISO setting, and shutter & aperture priority, where you select the ISO setting and the camera automatically works out both the shutter and the aperture. It can take a while to know your way around the menus. The live view is limited in that you can't change the exposure setting whilst in this mode and is probably best used for tripod work. On this camera you cannot use a shutter release cable, you have to purchase a separate remote control unit. The camera's optical image stabilisation feature works well at reducing camera shake. All round this is a camera that I would recommend."
