"Great price for something so easy to store and technically the same as the actual drums. They are made by MadCatz but you wouldn't have thought it when looking at the actual drums, which have the Rock Band type patterns on each drum pad helping identify each one. A flat, and preferably, hard surface is needed to get best use from them as sometimes hits cannot be registered if the surface is inadequate.
Very well made and great if you don't want to pay loads for the other drums which take up space, as these ones are literally plug in a few wires, connects to Xbox via USB, and then play :)"

"Like Ronseal, they do exactly what it says on the tin - although in a slightly cumbersome way. For some reason MadCatz have made the wires connecting the pads to the controller curly - which doesnt sound important, until you realise that this makes the wire springy, meaning it recoils. As the pads are so light, when placed on a table, the recoling wire drags them away from you towards the location of the controller. It would be possible to stick them down with something like velcro, but I don't understand why they are mad with curvey wiring instead of normal cable. It also makes them take up more space in the box!
Otherwise, they are great - work very well, very responsive and are a good alternative to the rock band drums if you dont have the space for a rack. Now... to find a way to build a portable rack for them!
I'd reccommend them for anyone lacking space - if you have the space, get the official pads - the rack makes all the difference!"
