"I read the reviews on this product before purchasing it which seemed to indicate a couple of problems, specifically the width of the bench and the ease with which it folded.
In terms of the width it is true to say it is not over generous but it I find it comfortable for my frame, to give that some context I am 5'11', 14 stone with a 46 inch chest so not the narrowest of individuals.
As for folding flat, this was important to me for storage but in my view it couldn't be easier, remove one sprung loaded pin and there you have it one flat bench.
The only issue I have is that as you increase the incline I can see no way to avoid increasing the distance between the top and bottom pads. This means that on the steepest setting you need very long legs! It is a simple fix with an additional bolt, but the design could have been better thought out and that is the only thing that stopped me giving the bench 5 stars.
In summary this is a sturdy enough and very usable bench for home use and offered at a very competitve price."
