"My 11 year old son likes gadgety type things so he bought this, despite my reservations.
Well it only took him a couple of hours to see it was utter rubbish -the motion alarm went off continually, the scope was flimsy and the flashlight gave out very little light!
Needless to say it went back for a refund the next day! Avoid"

"My daughter played with this off and on for two days, but has not really played with it since.
The working pen holds the batteries for some of the other accessories: light, writing light and movement sensor. The other accessories are: a cap and key for the case and a telescope eyepiece. The barrel of the pen will hold the other lens and the eyepiece can be removed to use as a magnifying glass."
