"IT IS NOT BAD LAMP,BUT, 1) IT MAKES A NOISE WHEN IT IS SWITCHED ON. 2) THE TUB COULD BE MORE POWERFUL. 3)WHEN THE LAMP IS ON THE CLAMP IT IS MORE UNSTEADY. 4) THE PLASTIC PEG IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH TO TAKE THE LAMP, AND I CAN SEE THIS AS IT'S MOST WEAKEST POINT AS I DO NOT SEE THIS LASTING A YEAR IF YOU START MOVING IT ABOUT."

"Having read the other reviews I thought I was on to a winner! It is good value for money and the light from it is great however the arm, even when folded is still too tall for my needs and I was unable to use the lamp on my desk with shelves over the top. I broke the clamp whilst trying to attach it in a different position so it is now being used in the shed with the stand(which is flimsey)! Instead I purchased the small pink (much cheaper ) "bendy" light and it is working great!"

"Although we found this lamp had a rather heavy base we realised it made the lamp more stable. We have very limited space but as the lamp was extremely adjustable we found it ideal. The light emitted from the lamp was perfect for reading in bed. We have not tried it for any other task, such as sewing, writing etc. so cannot comment on them. Overall we were pleased with the product"
