"This razor gives an excellent shave, at least equal to the Coolskin model I was using previously, and a lot less messy.
I have two small criticisms;-
1 The inclusion of a pouch to keep it in would be most beneficial.
2 On its first charge (12 hours as instructed) I only managed to get seven shaves, whereas I was expecting ten.
All in all a very good product."

"I bought this as a replacement for a Braun foil shaver that had started to get large holes in the foil and the cost of purchasing this shaver was not much more than that of buying a replacement cutting block and foil! I have had the shaver for three weeks now and am pleased with the performance:
1) The noise level is much lower than that of the Braun it replaced and low enough that I can comfortably shave while others sleep.
2) It has Li ion batteries which seem to hold very well - 10 days on 1 charge. The battery low indicator came on in time before any decrease in performance was noticed.
3) The shave is close and nice. Its difficult to say however how it will hold over time but so far so good. However as I have not used Philips shavers before, it did take 2 weeks for the neck region in particular to get used to the shaver. I think it warns of this in the manual as well..."
