"Machine was easy to install and tuned itself in so no bother there. It also has two scart points on the back, so you can play your dvd player through it which is a bonus. Rang the number and registered it for a month's free Top Up Channels but not the films nor Setanta. Didn't realise that the Top Up Channels load up at night while the machine is in standby mode. Apart from GOLD and a couple of old films I like, not much point in the Top Up Channels (old S** & The City, 3rd Rock from the Sun, Nip & Tuck etc), so won't be carrying on with the subscription. As to the recording aspect of the machine - superb! It's so easy selecting what you want to record from the "Guide" list, and playback is just as easy. I believe that this particular model has a large memory, which will stand me in good sted for recording series. The only bad thing is that I found the button to programme in my "Favourites" (so I don't have to go through channels like QVC etc every time I change channel manually), however, it seems to have disappeared and I can't find it again and it's not listed in the instruction book how to find / amend the list. Never mind. Am happy with my purchase!"
