"Purchased 2 pairs 1 set for my son who likes to watch and play is games.
2nd set for my Mum who is deaf but she says she is not.The main reason for purchase is the length of the cord and the in line volume control these Phones are Fantastic highly recommended."

"After sitting on my last pair of headphones and breaking the headband I was on the hunt for a good pair of headphones for the television in my room. Previously I had dabbled in wireless, but finding FM produced too much background noise for my taste and InfraRed being too limiting this did not take off. My previous pair of headphones were a Sony set with a 2 metre cable. Therefore in a room roughly 14 feet across I had to connect a multitude of 'headphone extension cables'. This came with the added problem that if you shifted too suddenly you could pull out the cable and mid sentence silence would descend. These headphones were thus ideal just from a cursory glance, especially that they were designed for TV use and had a 6 metre cable (goodbye extension leads). The sound quality is probably the highest I have yet experienced and the clarity is unrivalled. The handy volume control means you dont have to disrupt your viewing with the volume bar on the TV and can set a default volume on the TV and adjust the volume according to the volume level of the programme you are watching. This is especially good if you watch Sky or DVDs as the difference between various channels and different disks in sound clarity and quality, as well as volume, is stark.
Put simply if you watch television on headphones like me these are perfect for the job. Indeed they are more suited than many other headphones on the market. For example my Sony headphones where more of a DJ style and therefore did not reproduce stereo sound from a television as effectively at these. So be aware when you buy these that I have tested these with a TV and found they outperform other types of headphone in this arena. However if you are looking for a pair of headphones DJ style or for using with your iPod I wouldnt recommend these. First of all the 6 metre cable is a tad cumbersone, and therefore might not be to all music lovers tastes.
Saying this I do like to flick to the music channels during the adverts and I do enjoy the experience of listening to these channels with these headphones. In this respect if the lead length is not an issue you may also want to consider these for music listening."

"I WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS PURCHASE. WHEN PLUGGED INTO A DEVICE THE SOUND WAS BARELY AUDIBLE - EVEN ON FULL VOLUME!! NEEDLESS TO SAY I RETURNED THEM FOR A FULL REFUND!!!"
