"We wanted a simple good quality DVR with long battery life & SD card. The HDC-1087E has satisfied on all counts. Video is first class and picture quality very acceptable in all light conditions so far. Quick start-up & sound is adequate. Only grumbles are lack of digital zoom and I can't print date on my pictures tho' this could be me missing something. All-in-all, though, it's an excellent addition to our image capturing devices for a very reasonable price."
