"The cam isn't cheap compared to many. I was tempted because of the high quality pictures promised. I find it hard to tell that the quality is better than my previous webcam. No user software for edititing photos etc. Can't work out how to take snaps without pressing the button on the cam. You should be able to take shots using a 'timer'. Poor documentation and poor value. Wouldn't buy again."

"I purchased this Mikomi based on the fact that I had a cheap Mikomi which has been great for using with Skype when contacting relatives in Oz.
This new one had a great picture and I was looking forward to using it, until I 1st tried it with Skype. when using Skype auto volume for the Microphone basically the others couldn't hear a thing and without auto volume, there was a constant buzzing sound regardless of where I set up the camera.
I took the first one purchased back in case it was just that particular camera but had the same problem with the replacement so gave up.
Having said that, I then purchased a LiveCam V6000 which also seems to have issues so maybe the issue lies with my computer??
So if you can get the microphone working with your equipment this would be a great little camera."
