"A different alternative to the normal placemats. These were exactly what I was looking for and they do look good. They are quite heavy though. Why on earth protective rubber feet were not fitted to them I do not know! I've superglued some on as without them they will scratch your table to bits. Crockery used on top of them does make for a bit of a noisy meal, but overall I'm very pleased with them. A good price too!"

"I purchased two sets of these and was expecting nice quality placement mats for the money. Bearing in mind I have only just purchased a solid wooden table.
These placement mats are ALL ceramic and have no protection against scratching surfaces, needless to say I ended up with deep scratches on my new table in a few days. They look like tiles, and could easily break, I would not recommend them if you have children.
I took one set back, because they were unopened but left with one set. We will never be using them again, they caused unwanted damage - which they are supposed to prevent.
As a customer I would not recommend this product to anyone."
