Selecting a free FM frequency is simple enough and the DAB reception using the supplied small windscreen antenna was good (better than FM) when travelling cross-country in Southern England.
Recommended if you like 6Music but can't/won't change your radio."

"I'm so glad I purchased the Pure Highway, it"s great value, and a boon for anyone upgrading to digital radio in the car. Very easy to fit and operate, and you can take it with you if you change your car. If your going to buy one do it quickly as it's going out of production."

"Was really excited about this but ended up being disappointed. It worked fine sitting in my driveway but as soon as I started driving around, the single would keep disappearing meaning long periods of silence or stuttering. I live in Cambridgeshire so would've thought the signal would be OK. Another problem on a long drive was that a local FM frequency would gradually out power the DAB player' signal meaning it needed retuning along the way, not easy in the fast lane or in the dark. Would probably be better with an aerial outside but don't want a cable trailing across my roof."

"My Hi Fi packed up on DAB, & could't be fixed, so I bought the Highway to try & it works great, also is very good as a portable radio, highly recomended."

"Purchased so that I could listen to Sports programmes without the interference you get on AM bands and it does that fine but I use major routes so Digital cover is good in general. Only problem was that the windscreen aerial was missing so swapped unit over at the nearest store that had one in stock rather than send it back & wait for a replacement. Organised this swap / reservation via main Customer Services desk and was dealt with in a friendly & efficient manner."
