"Bought this for when we went camping at the beginning of September. It was easy to use and the gas is readily available in several local outdoor outlets.
We have a large 6 birth canvas tent, with separate sleeping and living areas. We found that it it wasn't particularly good at warming the sitting area of the tent after it had got cold. It worked best when turned on before it started to get cold - it kept the chill away.
It was much better at warming up the separate sleeping area before going to bed as that was a much smaller area with two layers of fabric to keep the heat in.
I would recommend this for smaller tents, or for camping in the warmer months.
