"easy start up instructions. Whole host of functions available, 1st time used at a half marathon and mileage was most very close to each marker. Very pleased with purchase as my first entry into wearing a GPS"

"This is a great little device - it does take a little time to locate you so it's a good idea to set it going as you're warming up. However, it really provides the motivation you need to keep running - I make myself go further each time as I can set up a challenger to race me!
Well worth it!"

"The Garmin works well but it is fairly huge on your wrist and bizarrely does not tell the time. Not a deal breaker but it does mean you need to wear a watch too."

"I really like using the Forerunner 205, it does everything I want it to and it was easy to set up the way I want it. The screen is easy to see on the run. Also the Training Centre software uploads everything from the watch to make it easier to see how your training is going. The downside is that this is a replacement watch, my first one was bought in July 2007 and the internal battery would no longer hold a charge and to send it back for a new battery was nearly as expensive as a new one + postiage so opted for a new one. Even so I still think it's a great training aid."

"Without a doubt the best piece of kit I have ever bought, having been a runner for over 14 years. GPS make life so much easier, and great when having to train on your own,espicially when having to do fartlek training.Easy to extract info.Heart monitor not included .Excellent."
