"Pair of 10kg plates will add useful extra weight to your barbell. These seem to be better finished than York plates of old, although the paint will chip off all the same, but this is no problem. Deadlift and squat to get strong back and legs."

"Hey, they're 10 kilos each, made of cast iron and have a neat little hole through the middle so you can put them on your bar. You get two of them and they both say "10KG" so that's 20 kilos in total.
Seriously, I don't know why anyone would pay more. 10 kilos is 10 kilos. Having shiny chrome ones or ones that have a flashier brand name doesn't make the exercises any different. I have about a dozen of these now and they all work just fine."
