"Good set of weights with a handy exercise guide, got them on special offer so was quite chuffed. The only small problem is when using the weights on the bar. Ever time you put them down between reps the looking nuts loosen, so you are having to tighten them up all the time"

"Very pleased with my purchase, good range of weights available with the set and swapping the weights around is simplicity itself.
Be sure to tighten the plastic washers at each end of the barbell before use, it has a habit of loosening itself after a few repetitions but other than that it's top notch.
Exercises given with the set were helpful. Had it a few weeks and I'm beginning to feel the benefits already! Overall, a good starter set."

"Very happy with purchase. The spinlock system is effective and simple to use and the overall quality of the product is great for the price paid.
I would say these are an excellent "entry level" set of weights, but probably not good enough for serious body builders.
However if you just want to create some tone and build a bit of extra muscle I would definitely recommend these."

"Being sand-filled, the weights are quite large and bulky. It would be handy to have smaller weights such as 0.5kg as going up by 2x1.25kg incrememnts is quite steep, for me anyway!
But good for the price."

"York dumbells are a very goood make of product, i was very impressed by the price of the product, and had to have them, i am a keen sportsman, so these weights came in very handy for adding a bit extra muscle, im onli 17, but anyone who is looking at getting into weight training or just wants to tone up, this set is well worth it, as you save a fortune or gym memberships."
