"Very disappointed. I should have taken note of other peoples' reviews before making the purchase. The machine is 3 weeks old and it is already giving problems- not feeding the water through. My advice - spend a bit more and buy a better make!"

CHEAP AND CHEERFUL

"I bought this washing machine mainly for its price tag as it seemed good value for money. So far so good - the main wash I use is the quick 30 minute wash which is economical and great for freshening up clothes that are not particularly dirty. This was one of the cheapest washing machines I could find at a time when I did not have a great deal of cash to spend and I have not been disappointed by my purchase so far."

"This machine is really great value for money, it proberly would not be the best for a large family, but for me and my husband it is good.
When running it is very quiet, the first time i used it i forgot it was on.
The time cycle is fast and the washing comes out great."

Budget washing machine

"This was bought for my son, who has just got a flat and it is all we could afford, so at least it does the job. However, It does take a long, long time to wash the clothes. It only has a cold infill hose, so part of the time taken is heating the water to the temperature chosen. We put the setting on 30 degrees and the wash took nearly 2 and a half hours. The other cycles are not much better. The spin on it is good and the clothes are well wrung out. The draw for the powder does not pull out very far, so you have to aim the powder carefully. Definitely would not buy one again as what we saved on the machine will be spent on electricity due to the length of the cycles."

Really Good Deal!

"I purchased a HEC 1050 washing machine to replace my very old and broken one. I was a little wary of the cheap price, but it's been absoutely fantastic. It's quiet, and washes brilliantly. The only thing I have noticed is that the cycles last quite a long time, but that isn't too much of a problem for me.
I'd definitely recommend it. It's good if you want a reliable cheap machine, or just to keep your money to spend on more important things!"

good washing machine

"Ordered this washing machine on line on a Sunday night and it was with me by 12 on Thursday. Drivers were very good unwrapped it and took all packaging. Even though machine is the cheapest in the book it works well ,some of the wash cycles are a bit long but even the more expensive ones take just as long. worth the money and If your like me on a budget and would prefer the spend your money on other things!!"

cheap and cheerful

"After spending a lot of money on expensive washing machines in the past,only to find they break down weeks after the warranty expires we decided to buy the cheapest we could find. If it lasts a year we just recycle it and buy another. The washer it self is very basic with a low spin speed but it does the job and for the money it is excellent value. I just hope it lasts a year at least."

"For the price it's a good machine and I'm really pleased with it. Simple to use, so much so my husband and 10 year old son have figured it out. I would recommend to only use the fast wash, approx 30 mins, as the others take about 2 1/2 hrs. The clothes still come out lovely and clean and smelling fresh. The only thing wrong is that sometimes if the load is heavy when wet it doesn't always spin it the first time e.g when washing towls."
