"After much research I bought this radio for my husband who never stops listening to the radio....ever!! He has had it for a week now and uses it everyday to walk to work and says that he didnt radio reception could be that good, he keeps waiting for some back ground noise but nothing, in his words its just a brilliant piece of kit. If you are thinking about buying one just do it."

"Love this, although a little on the big size. But it still fits in a pocket. Great reception on commute to work. Bought radio as I can't get internet on my smart phone on this journey. Spent a little more than I meant to but Really Pleased."

"Excellent battery life once initially charged, battery holds its charge better than other cheapter products I've tried. Plus disposable battery products tear through replacement batteries endlessly.
Great reception & comfortable headphones.

"I wanted a radio for when i am at work at lunch times, and when i sit in the garden.
This radio is sturdy, good reception, a nice size, easy to use, good display.
It does what i want of a radio.
The downside to this is the headphones, they produce a good sound, but i prefer the ear plug style, as they fit in the ear easy, the ones that come with the radio tend to drop out when movinhg"

"My wife purchased this for my birthday - It's really fantastic, I am really very pleased with it - it's on a par with the Pure Oasis she bought me 5 years ago. Digital radio on the move - even in the car (with one of those cassette leads into the radio casette player). Only criticism is that it is twice as thick as it really needs to be, but this is really very picky - I am delighted with it."

"This is a brilliant radio I live in a very poor reception area and my walkman was always crackling or losing the signal but this never misses a beat. A bit pricey but once again you only get what you pay for and in my opinion worth every penny."

Reasonable but could have been better

"Works quite well most of the time but i have to say this is definitley not worth the price asked.the fit and finish is poor, mainly on the outer silver edge, which i thought at first was metal but is silver painted plastic, with rough edges!! and i would think this paint will wear of over time. but the sound quality is to me very good using the supplied earbuds. also the battery cover comes off to easily. all in all far to expensive. i have another Pure product which is excellent all round and expected better??"

"We bought this pocket radio, for use during walks with the dog and at work, we already have a Pure dab radio/cdplayer which is marvelous, so thought this would be as good, it is in all aspects except that the signal does fade if you are not in a good reception area, not as bad as most of this type of radio,"

Much better than FM

"Decided to try out DAB as my portable FM radio died. Use it mainly on a motorcycle - around London and intercity - and the number of stations / quality of reception has been hugely impressive. On a trip from London to Nottingham I was listening to BFBS and had uninterrupted, 100% quality sound for the whole journey, and thats only with a headphone lead as an antennae!
Headphones included with the radio are also very, very good. Its pricey - but you get what you pay for!"
