"Much better than I expected, but the slide holder is very "frail" - hope it doesn't break!
Even scans half frame 35mm slides with excellent results."

"Bought scanner specifically for digitizing my slide collection. For the price, the end product is good and the supplied software is more then adequate for my needs. Have so far scanned over 250 slides with no problems.
Need to be patient as the scanner can only process 4 slides at a time, takes about 5 minutes to process. The cassette supplied to hold slides is a bit flimsy, shame they do not provide a spare just in case. No problems so far!

"Chose this scanner to copy all my old photos and negatives. Will scan upto 3 photos in one go and will file as 3 separate file for each photo. Will also do this with negatives but takes a bit longer to process."

"I wanted a scanner capable of handling negatives, and this one manages it with ample resolution. The quality is so much better than when scanning the photos. It also saves the tedium of taking photos out of an album and then remounting them.
Occasionally for some reason the device scans only half of one of the pictures in a strip and I have to turn the strip around to try it from a different angle. It is awkward to know exactly which way around I am supposed to place the strip in the scanner, but this does not matter, because the software makes it easy to flip and invert as appropriate.
The film scanner is mounted in the lid of the device. When not in use, a cover is placed over the film scanner. This acts as the backing when placing larger items onto the glass flatbed. I am amazed that the cover is only card. I cannot see it lasting long. This is a poor piece of corner-cutting in an otherwise excellent product."

"If you need a scanner then this is it. Quick to set up and use. Scans briiliant photos with matching colour to the original and no loss of detail.
Also is ideal for documents, which I need it for - copying survey sheets that are 2nd copy of self copies, come out clear and again with no loss of detail.
Want a scanner, then buy this one, for you will not be disappointed, good price, excellent results and ease of set up and use, and the local store was very helpful, more so than the large computer shops in Plymouth.

"I purchased this as a replacement for an older Canon scanner, specifically to scan negatives and slides. It was extremely eay to install and run. the quality of scan are simply excellent, with a much reduced scan time compare to my older scanner. Teh photo editiing software is a very useful addition and a very powerful tool for editing images. I would recommend it 100%"

"This is a very good flatbed scanner which produces excellent results every time. It also has the ability to scan thick items, books etc. and transparencies/negatives.
The software supplied is also very good and easy to use. All in all a good buy

"The expenditure on this piece of hardware is justified, at least in the short term. I will be having to give it more of a test - but its specification, software and ease of use, make it good value."
