"I have read the reviews on this product before hand and i don't agree with a majority of them, Presets save even when i turn off my receiver,
I went with my gut on this and turned out to best product, my mum had been bought a Pure DAB for her B/day and mine is better than hers a lot more presets even the sound from the Built-in speaker is clear.
All in all a very well built and very cheap product, A MUST BUY in my opinion"

"i had to replace original dab as it did not store any scanned stations (let alone favourites list) when i turned it off. argos did this professionally without any fuss so i was happy. 2nd dab stored everything okay and its a good quality signal in london with 55 stations - i have jogged miles with it on and sounds good without any signal break-up at all."

"Nice piece of kit only let down by its lack of indoor DAB reception in postcode s40. I returned it and bought the Pure pocket dab 1500 in stead."

"This little radio is ok for the money, It was reduced by £10 so i wouldnt have bothered if it was full price.
My only moan is that resption is it and miss, this maybe due to where i live, which is in a town. On high ground i would expect it to do better."

"A brilliant personal dab radio that you can carry in your pocket, it has a clear crisp sound and has a bass booster which gives it a nice deep sound. I have no regrets in purchasing this product and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a petsonal dab radio"

"This is a very good little DAB. the built in speaker is lowed and clear and for suck a small size thing it is so good . You knead the earphones in to get the signal even if your on speaker but it is grate value for money"

"This DAB radio worked for a week then stopped working, it would not charge up. When I researched the make I found that it had not received very many good reviews, they were all disappointed with the product. Would not buy"

Best of the DAB Bunch

"Being a Runner, Walker and Cyclist, I used to utilise a selection of FM personal radios, now I have moved to DAB. I find that for internal battery life, build quality, reception and all round userbility, the Aigo DAFM001A personal DAB Radio is the best for me and I can heartilly recommend it. If there is a criticism, it is in the infuriatingly contrary controls.... but when you have such a small device such as this, where do you put all the buttons?? All lil' DAB's suffer to some extent from this."

"This was bought as a Christmas present and unfortunately went straight back once the shops re-opened. The channels wouldn't store and it wouldn't play at all. Quite embarrassing considering it was a present."

Handy little DAB radio

"Bought this for my partner for Christmas so he can listen to 5 live in the garden in the summer and on holiday, we have other DABs, but none as portable as this which can easily fit into a pocket. Good sound quality and signal where we live, hopefully it will be the same when we go on holiday. Like that it is rechargeable too."

"Though the radio looksd smart and has clear visual display it performed poorly in terms of station reception compared to other personal digital radios. The stations which were meant to be stored also kept disappearing and there was no feature for manual tuning on the FM band. We exchanged for another make of DAB radio which has performed much better, though was more costly."

A good buy in the end!

"Like others who posted their rating, I experienced problems with the first two; having taken one then the other back because it wasn't saving the preset channels and then the replacement wiped the whole of the DAB channels (44) downloaded when I switched off then on again - (A faulty batch I reckon). As they say though 3rd time lucky and the current one has been a treat. When I switched on and off again, all my preset channels were there and the sound quality was very good when using the ear plugs provided.
Can't listen to it at work though as the signal isn't very good, but will keep moving it about until I get a good signal. For the price its a treat and unlike some of the more expensive ones I can switch to audio and listen without ear plugs."
